Through the ages
and many stages
we all keep changing
and rearranging
The way we view the world…
When we are a teenage “child”
we say,” let’s be wild !”
nothing can hurt us
and we sometimes trust
way, way too much
we grow and we grow,
and we suddenly know
all the changes do show
We begin to see
that we
are not made of steel
and sometimes we feel
and deal
with this life, in a new way…..
if we’re very wise
we step back, and see the lies
and the tries
of those who are not our friends
they will never made ammends
it never ends
the changing and rearranging
through the ages and stages …
This poem is just plain rocking awesome twinnie! 🙂 It’s all so true what you wrote. What a magic mix of words, everyone needs to read this! 🙂 TF <3=Twins Forever
Well let’s hope everybody does read this 🙂 I am getting some magic mixes of words happening!! So it’s all good 🙂 TF ❤
All true…but a common mistake that many make is to spend more time looking through the rear-view mirror at where they’ve been, than ‘steering’ through the windshield toward where they’re going. 😉
Thanks for reading 🙂 You know what you say is very true BUT as we all know, “objects in the rear view mirror appear closer than they are 😉 ” I think the windshield is a way smarter way to look 🙂
Wonderful composition!
