Who wants one? A snowflake facial, doesn’t that sound invigorating? I know, you are all thinking I am talking about real snow, right? Perish the thought! That would be too cold and quite silly, think about it. 😉 I just had to do some kidding there for a minute. 🙂 But, seriously… There really is a plant called the summer snowflake plant! That’s how the snowflake facial earned it’s named. Very misleading, I know! Want to know the other not so good part? It costs about $350 and upwards of more I believe if you have it done at their Beverly Hills spa. Who knows, all I do know is it is very expensive!
The snowflake plant is supposed to contain all these wonderous natural ingredients. They are claiming it’s better than botox and it’s needle free! Yay, let’s all go have one, who is with me? I think it’s just plain too much money, who agrees with me? There is a variety of products you can buy and do this at home yourself. They all look not too bad, until you get to the scary mask you will need to wear for a short time. It’s supposed to help the product work better. For some people they really might think of trying it, you never know. Everyone is different on their thoughts. Not being a fan of having botox or anything like that being done, maybe I am just too cynical about the whole concept. It doesn’t matter if it’s all natural ingredients and needle free. Well, I may need you kind readers to help me out.
Autumn has given me her thoughts, she might want to try out the snowflake facial. If she felt like tossing that kind of money around, which she doesn’t. Botox? To that the twinnie says no! Who has any thoughts to share about the snowflake facial concept? How about botox? I know, perhaps just a bit too personal. Please do forgive me if indeed I did get too inquiring….But sharing is fun! Anyway, I did have to share and pass along the interesting name when I learned about the snowflake plant. The new happening snowflake facial, too…I would love to talk to someone that actually had one done though! Just for the sake of my curiosity and all…You know what I mean?
I did have to laugh when I told Autumn about the snowflake facial…Her first question, do they use real snow? I have to admit…I did tease her for a few minutes and had her going about it being real snow. I thought I was more of the gullible of us twinnies! 😉 Don’t worry I told her the truth right away and she laughed, a lot! So, no snowflake facials or botox for the twinnies and that’s our final word! 🙂 🙂
I still can’t get over the prices, it’s all hard to imagine 😉 OMG, but you already know that 🙂 TF ❤ = Twins Forever
The prices are just too much, our Philosphy products work wonderfully as it is. 🙂 Why tamper with success and spend more money? I guess they can count us out on giving the snowflake facial a whirl! lol 😉 TF <3=Twins Forever
Why to the price of that, but I know many would so pay it to get it done. To each its on. No not Gabby teasing Autumn! lol That would be something if it was use with real snowflakes… 🙂
I know PJ, some people are probably racing to give it a try. But it is a bit too expensive I think, as you said to each his own! 🙂 I shouldn’t have teased Autumn, but she ended up laughing. Imagine if they used real snowflakes…Brr, too cold! 🙂 I need to get over to your blog yet PJ, I am so behind and promise to catch up! 🙂
If they did really use snowflakes I would’ve to try it. Just to see some kind of snow! lol! I understand take your time 🙂
Lol about you trying it if it was real snowflakes PJ! We have got to figure out a way for you to see real snow! 🙂 Hope everyone else is being as understanding as you! 🙂
Gabby, you are never too personal, only lots of fun, which is what draws “us” readers in! xx I’ve had a facial once, can you believe that? I’m not really into that stuff; I do my own nails, although, have gone at times for manicures and pedicures. With the cost, I probably wouldn’t spend that kind of money on me, for a facial. And botox? Never (dare I say never)…it’s so sad when seeing celebrities after having something done and they look horrible. I think I’ll just let nature take its course and hope for the best! 🙂
Lauren, thank for saying I’m never too personal because you know I worry about these things. I’m not surprised you had a facial, they are a nice treat…Just not the snowflake one because they are a bit pricey. I do my own nails, too and have since I got rid of the acrylics in the ’90’s! They were so bad, and thankfully my nails are now healthy and normal. Botox, it is sad seeing what it’s done (that and too much plastic surgery) to some of the celebrities, makes us really want to keep it natural! I’m sure we’ll be fine letting nature take it’s course, we won’t worry for now! 🙂
Yes, and plastic surgery…I forgot about that, too! Well, since I’m a little older than you and Autumn, I’ll keep you posted! Hee,hee! 🙂
You are only a mere couple years ahead of us Lauren, which isn’t much at all 🙂 Don’t you dare give into the call of plastic surgery! 😉 Give Autumn and me a shout, we will get you talked out of it! 🙂
I know…just wanted to add some humor, as I’ve been down today…I will never try plastic surgery, too fearful of needles, even though I’ve been through enough (won’t go into details), but for fear of surgery bloopers. That would be my luck! 🙂 So, no worries, we’ll all good on that subject! 🙂
I am sorry about the down day Lauren, I know it’s an up and down time. Sometimes we need the touches of humor to get us through. If you need either Autumn or me, remember we are only an email away. I am glad it’s decided none of us will be going for the plastic surgery route. It seems we all have the fear of surgery and all in common, we won’t get into it here. Sending lots of love and hugs to you dear friend and a smile from each of us–> 🙂 🙂
I am thinking I need to find this “snowflake plant” and grow some in my own backyard…then sell the ingredients on the black market and get super rich! Maybe then I could afford to go to the spa and have a facial! Fun post!
Leave it to you Lori, I am laughing so hard at your comment! 🙂 What a good idea indeed, not sure where to find the snowflake plant. Wonder if it’s hard to track down? Lol, strike it rich and be able to go to the spa for the snowflake facial! Glad you enjoyed this post Lori and do keep me informed if you do track down the plant! 🙂
Oh thank god you clarified for a sec i did think of rubbing some ice on my face :0
Man that facial is expensive…you know what I realised it just now i have never got anykind of facial done out in any spa..all my hair and face treatments are natural homemade ones ( what my grand mother and mother followed)
ok so here is the plan first i will have to go to casino win millions 😆 and then get every thing done..botox,facial whatever who doesnt want a stunned frozen smiley emoticon face..and plastic surgery for all that which went south 😆
what a great fun post loved it
Gabby its such a pleasure taking part in your posts hugs :0
If I thought it would work I would have passed along the benefits of ice being rubbed on our faces…Sadly there are none! Unless somebody knows something we don’t! 😉 I know that facial is way too expensive, I have never had one done or gone to a spa. A couple of our youngers sisters have and love the whole spa thing and go often. The homemade facials are probably the best, if they worked for your Grandmother and Mother. You are so funny Soma, racing to the casino winning millions and getting everything done! That wouldn’t work for me, because I have never tried my luck at the casinos and would no doubt lose instead! 😉 I am so happy you liked the post Soma and it’s a pleasure for you to take part in my posts, too! Hugs right back to you! 🙂
Same here Gabby casino wont work I dont even win the freebies…Only time I got something was 50cents off on next buy 😦
Oh no, our luck sounds about the same Soma. 😦 Don’t be sad, we’ll have to think of something besides a casino! 🙂
Nice post. I’ve never heard of the snowflake facial. Not in this girl’s budget at the moment. But as I was reading the ladies comments, I started thinking what fun it would be to form friendships with a group of girls and periodically meet up for a girl’s pamper day. Whether its to just chat and laugh (or cry) at life. Or spend the day at lunch and the spa. Thanks again for introducing us to this.
Thanks Indi and glad you liked it. 🙂 It’s not in any of our budgets it seems, that is awfully pricey. The ladies all were fun with the comments. Your idea of a girl’s pamper day would be wonderful Indi, I think we all need that type of thing and we are all so busy with our lives. It would be relaxing to have a day like that! 🙂 I am glad I stumbled on the snowflake facial, I get too many magazines or I might not have known about it either. Just happy you enjoyed reading it! 🙂
