April is Stress Awareness Month

April  is a month when we celebrate Stress Awareness! I really thought about this long and hard when I realized it was a whole month dedicated to Stress Awareness. What an awesome thing it is for all of us, it will get us thinking! So many people have stress in their lives, too much of it!

Some is self-induced unfortunately, some is brought on by how hectic and busy life can get. Some of it is caused from taking on too much, some of us worry needlessly and that causes stress.Over our work, our home life, over just anything and everything it seems. It’s bad for our body and also very bad for our minds. But we all know that already, don’t we? Of course we do, but we still meander our way over to the worrying and stressing side just way too often. Trust me, I know this well because I do it myself. I usually do try to catch myself though, and think positive thoughts instead. It works, at least the majority of the time and it’s something I try so much to be in touch with.

I just know the high blood pressure, the headaches, the anxiety, the sleepless nights, and all the bad things that come from stress just aren’t good at all. I hope we can all start to think about it when we start getting stressed. Maybe say a little prayer and also concentrate on happy and good vibes instead. It’s worth a try, right? Why let stress win? That’s what this Stress Awareness Month is all about, in my humble opinion only and for what it’s worth. I say it’s time to stop that awful stress right in its tracks!

I discussed this one with Autumn and she was in agreement, Yay! That Twinnie really is much like me, we want to stay healthy and happy. We just both know we have to make a conscious effort and be aware. I’m sure all of you kind readers are with us…Let’s do be aware and say goodbye to stress! Stress Awareness Month is a good thing! I’m glad I discovered it and I hope you all will also give it some serious thought, too! 🙂

  1. Ya after all that march does to us financially, April does become a bit stressy( there is no such word, blame stress)

  2. I thought stressy was a word Soma, well if it’s not…Let’s do blame it on stress! 😉 Too much stress is so bad for us and good we are all thinking about it. Thank you so much Soma for the kind words about this post and also us Twinnies. We sure both do try and make it fun on this blog. Your blog is the same Soma, so much fun and uplifting. Thank you for the wonderful image…I just love it and am anxious for Autumn to see it, too! Let’s do make it happen, both Autumn and I are with you sweetie! 🙂 I see you are reading backwards, my but you are catching up for lost time! 😉 I saw part of another comment, but didn’t want to approve it cause I was worried you would be upset. It really turned out OK, I’ve got your back PJ! OMG, but what is it up with comments getting messed up?! Hope that was the last time it happens! 🙂

      • you know it never happen before. it was long comment and it wouldve had you laughing. I know i hit enter then i went up to see what happen and didnt see my comment. WP miss me that much it playing with me! lol! it prob take a month to get caught up with comments and reading different blogs.. I’m actually done with classes tuesday to july, give me time to get my health in check and to focus more on me.. And more time to blog! lol…

        • I am sorry I missed reading it PJ, I always love to be laughing as you know! Lol, WP really did miss you as well as all of us missing you, too. It may take you a good amount of time catching up, but take your time and don’t worry if you can’t do it all. You being well is the main thing, but I am happy classes are over in July. Please do focus on you and get your health in check! More time to blog is right, lol…I sure did miss you PJ, you always bring so many smiles. 🙂 Keeping those prayers rolling, too! 🙂

  4. You know before I got sick not to long ago. I was actually thinking positive thoughts, I was like naw im not getting sick, naw me sick cant be. I’m fine. I need to be doing something more. But its good to have a month to bring awareness to stress.. One of the main cause thats killing so many of us today! Ok believe i done read the whole post! ty for sharing! God Bless 🙂

    • It was good to be thinking positive thoughts PJ, I really was about your illness, too. As well as praying of course but things do happen that we don’t like as we know. I know, I was worrying about you a lot and the in and out of the hospital thing. It was scary, I am so praying you are back on the road to recovery sweetie! 🙂 I am happy it was Stress Awareness Month and we could all give it some thought. You are so right, it’s so bad for us that evil stress. I think you’ve read the whole post pretty darn through PJ and you are welcome about sharing.
