Meteor Watch Day is Here!

Wait a second, shouldn’t that be night? Yes indeed, this day should be called Meteor Watch Night…We need to rename it at once! Because, even if you tried as hard as you could, it would be impossible to find a meteor during the daytime! It is a kind of fascinating day/night though, isn’t it? A whole day/night devoted to the searching of the skies to catch a glimpse of a shooting star.

Also called by some people as a falling star or meteor burst, a bright trail in the sky…Call it what you may! There is just something quite magical about the whole deal is what I think. Watching, waiting and looking to see that shooting star in the sky…Because then, Yay you get to make a wish! Everyone knows that, right? Wishes on shooting stars are among the long list of fun things in my opinion to wish upon. Not saying the wishes will come true of course, but you just have to give it a whirl just in case.

There were more than a few times I have witnessed a shooting star when my husband Dave and I were hanging out, he laughed as I wished! He thought it was so cute of me wishing on fallen debris from space as he called it, he did humor me and also made a wish once or twice.

I was talking to Autumn about this Meteor Watch Day thing and she of course thought it was quite awesome, too. The Twinnie says she and her darling man will hang out on the deck for a spell and watch the night sky to try to spot a falling star of their own! Well, that was good news to hear and I am hoping they see one!

Among the Flowers

Happy National Fairy Day

Wow, those cute little fairies have their own special day! 🙂 Yes indeed, those magical fairies that Autumn loves to write about and honor, Yay! The fairies are dancing and twirling and just plain honored at this special day made for them all I hear. Autumn is one happy Twinnie today, she has been smiling and celebrating like crazy…You would have thought she designated the day herself! 😉

For all who just love those fairies, from Tinkerbell to all the fairies in the whole world will embrace this day! 🙂 I know I do and I really love fairies and yes, I do clap because I believe in them…You already know Autumn claps, too! Remember that line in the movie Peter Pan…Clap your hands if you believe in fairies. I hope you are all clapping, clap harder if you can kind readers so we can hear you! 😉 🙂

It’s too much fun, I keep smiling myself just thinking about it, because it’s such a lovely idea. I’m not sure how it all started, who started it and all but did they ever designate one awesome day. The fairies pave the way for everyone to smile, maybe dance and just love all things magical, mystical and mysterious! We have our Fairy Godmother, the garden fairies, the fairies come in all sizes, too! We have the fairies who do this and that, whatever you may need and guard and protect. I don’t want us to forget the much-needed Tooth Fairy… Flying here and there. She collects all those precious baby teeth that are lovingly placed under pillows, put in trinket boxes and all and money is left behind to make the little boys and girls content at parting with those baby teeth. So many wonderful and happy things all these fairies do! Bestowing amazing things and magical acts…Autumn has told me all about them so I know these things, Yay Autumn! 🙂

Fairies have their own day, they sure do need to be celebrated and we Twinnies are embracing the day and overjoyed. Make a wish, it just may come true today of all days…It doesn’t hurt to give it a whirl! Oh, Autumn reminded me to tell you…Don’t you dare forget to clap because the fairies have to know you certainly do believe! 🙂 🙂

Magic Night Light

Garfield the Cat Day

Happy Birthday Garfield, this is your day! Isn’t it awesome Garfield is so special and his birthday is honored with his very own special day, I think that is just the coolest thing. Garfield was born on June 19th, 1978 and that makes him 34 years old and doesn’t he look wonderful? Still so young and kittenish and just as full of fun as he was when he was first-born.

Jim Davis created this charming cat for all the public to fall in love with. Garfield really is much-loved by so many and who doesn’t know who Garfield is, right? His best buddy and sidekick Odie who he loves and also does happen to love to torment is singing Happy Birthday and his owner/person Jon Arbuckle is joining in! Along with all of us that simply love this orange tabby cat just to pieces.

I’m not sure what kind of birthday cake Garfield is having this year but the main course is lasagna and side dish of pizza! It’s funny how Garfield is the only cat I know who makes people laugh when he shreds the curtains. chairs, ferns and a flowerbed or two. He’s just so amusing at times and just a bit sarcastic that you have just got to smile, chuckle and laugh out loud at his stunts. I wanted to share this day with all of you kind readers and feel free to sing Garfield a Happy Birthday song. Yay Garfield! It’s surely is going to be good one, too!
